Here are
some of TC's newest and most popular fiber connectivity
products:
VoIP+
Industrial Grade Virtual PBX
TC3848
As the
first industrial grade VoIP Virtual PBX product currently
available in the industry, TC's VoIP+ is ideal to create
phone solutions for private LANs in harsh environments. It
seamlessly integrates reliable phone service and
comprehensive call processing features without having to use
PBXs. The
Model TC3848 VoIP+ is a complete telephony solution that
merges the simplicity of Ethernet with the call processing
features of PBXs into one compact interface card. With no
central hub required, it utilizes the cutting edge VoIP
technology to become a self-sufficient phone
system/product. It is part of the JumboSwitch product
family.

T1/E1-over-IP-Gateway
TC3845
Featuring
extremely low latency, the Model TC3845
T1/E1-over-IP-Gateway brings another level of flexibility to
IP network connectivity. It transmits 1-4 channels of
T1/E1, or any combination, over Layer 2/3 networks in
point-to-point or multi-point applications. Typical
applications include extending voice, video and data across
IP networks. For example, the TC3845S is used to extend
T1/E1 links between PBX's, connect video conferencing, or
link Cell Towers to Central Offices.
It is
part of the JumboSwitch product family.

JumboSwitchTM Gigabit Ethernet Multi-Service
Access Platform
TC3840
The centerpiece of the JumboSwitch product family is
an industrial hardened, fully managed and easily scalable
Gigabit Ethernet switch that integrates up to 7
hot-swappable Ethernet, Voice & Data interface cards onto a
Gigabit Ethernet backbone fiber optic network.
Based on the most advanced Ethernet/IP, VoIP & TDMoIP
technologies, the JumboSwitch MSAP family offers an
efficient, low cost alternative to SONET/SDH network
solutions for many applications. The JumboSwitch also
guarantees straight-forward and simple scalability for any
network topology or size.

The JumboSwitch offers several advantages over SONET & SDH.
The JumboSwitch is typically one-half the initial capital
cost of a SONET/SDH system and, compared to the complicated hierarchies of SONET or SDH
based systems, it drastically reduces
operational expenses since it totally eliminates unnecessary
hardware layers. Plus, it significantly lowers the skill
level required for installation maintenance &
troubleshooting.
Legacy equipment, e.g. T1/E1, T3/E3, RS-232/485, can
co-exist harmoniously on the same platform with more
advanced technologies including Ethernet, GigE fiber ports,
TurboSerial for protective relay communication and VoIP+, a
virtual VoIP PBX without the need of additional Call
Managers or SIP Servers.
