Multi-Interface 'Hi-Speed' Data Fiber Optic Modem (Sync/Async)

Intended for high speed data connectivity applications, the TC1710 Multi-Interface Fiber Optic Modem supports asynchronous data rates up to 10Mbps and synchronous rates up to 5Mbps.

The TC1710 is Profibus compatible and supports a wide range of high speed data applications including connecting satellite downlinks, DSUs, CSUs and various Crypto devices. Interfaces are modular and include RS 422, RS 485 (2/4-wire), RS 530, V.35 and TTL. Interfaces can be easily changed before or after installation.

Diagnostics are extensive and include a built-in Test Signal Generator, local & remote loopback & LEDs for Power, Alarm, Tx, Rx and all applicable control signals. The Test Signal Generator verifies both device & fiber optic link operation. Distances up to 80km are typical. Power redundancy is standard, optical redundancy is optional.
